I am Muhammad Hamzah. I have spent twelve years in and around delivery teams — first writing backend services, then leading them, and now mostly deciding what gets built and defending that decision to people with competing priorities.

The work has been unglamorous in a useful way: payments integrations, internal platforms, a data migration that ran for nine months, several products that did not survive their first year. I learned more from those than from the ones that worked, and this site exists because I got tired of explaining the same lessons in one-to-one conversations.

I write in both English and Bahasa Indonesia. Technical arguments travel better in English; anything about how teams actually behave reads truer in Indonesian, so I stopped forcing one language on both.
